Senate House is located in the campus of the University of Madras, nearby Marina Beach. It is an architectural marvel built by Robert Fellowes Chisholm. The Senate House built between 1874 and 1879, in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, incorporates many elements of the Byzantine style.
